This aluminum storage box has stenciled art across the top reading "D.A.N.K. DeKalb, IL". The German American National Congress, or DANK, was founded in Chicago in 1959. Since then, DANK has been instrumental in helping of the adoption of Congressional resolutions regarding German American Day. This rustic container was likely used during important DANK events, and would be a lovely addition to a collection of German culture pieces. The box measures 9" x 9" x 4".
