Century City, “an authentic turn of the millennium shopping experience.” It’s actually a mile wide span of steel storage containers welded together, on the outskirts of the city, but whoever designed the inside knew what they were doing. Not only did they recreate all the big stores, but the oil pools on the pizza are just right too, if you can stand to eat that stuff.

The real genius though, came from sourcing those old credit card readers. They won’t work on anything modern, so you have to get a card that only works in Century City. It’s hard to tell if it’s more depressing from the inside or the outside, but there isn’t really anywhere else you can find those nylon, tear away style track pants anymore either.
