Im back from Arizona and trying to get caught up from the few days that I was away. Its amazing how much time you feel like you lose when you spend two full days on an airplane.
It was completely worth it though. I had such a great time at the Life Created Workshop. Stephanie went above and beyond and the details were so thoughtful and beautiful. I just dont have enough nice things to say about my experience.
I enjoyed my time in Arizona. I drove to Sedona and it was even more gorgeous than I thought that it was going to be. I wonder if you just dont notice the beauty of it when you live there? Like its just normal to be surrounded by that kind of nature each and every day, so it isnt something that really registers? Or you just are blown away each day when you leave the house?
I will say that I have an appreciation for the level of commitment that skincare it takes to stay moisturized while living in the desert. My skin actually hurt after the third day. I went to Sephora and begged for samples of their richest moisturizers. I left dry 85+ degree weather and today was 33 degrees and we had some flurries. So now my skin is just confused.
As much as I like being away, I love coming home more. I missed my little family and couldnt wait to all be under the same roof again.
Were home for awhile and Im happy about it. Thanksgiving seems so far away, but it really isnt. The holidays are going to be here before we know it.
