Bread Machine Yeast Rolls:

  1. 3-3 1/2 Cups AP Flour
  2. 1 tsp Salt
  3. One Yeast Packet
  4. 2 Tbsp Sugar
  5. 4 Tbsp Butter
  6. 1 C warm milk
  7. 2 Eggs

Add all your ingredients to your bread machine and set it on the dough setting. Mine takes about 2 hours including the kneading, resting and rising. All the hard work is done for me so that I can work on other things.

* Note: Add the ingredients according to the directions of your bread machine. The one that I use has me adding all the liquids first.

Once your dough is done, punch it down one more time and place the dough on a nicely floured surface. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Once done, you then portion off your dough to about 1.8 oz for each roll. I use my digital scale so that each roll is proportionate in size.

You then place your rolls in a greased pan. Cover and allow them to rise in a warm place for up to 30 minutes. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

* Note: If you don’t have a warm, draft-free place to let the dough rise, turn your oven to its lowest setting and place the dough inside with the door slightly cracked open.

Once your rolls have doubled in size, brush the tops of them with some melted butter. Place your rolls in the oven and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Once your rolls come out nice, soft and warm,

you can then brush the tops with some more melted butter.

So delicious and simple to make, especially with the help of a bread machine.

Now that you have this delicious yeast roll recipe, it’s time to get baking! Whether you’re serving them as a side dish or using them for sandwiches, your family and friends will be impressed with your homemade rolls.

Some Additional Tips:

  • Make sure your yeast is fresh and active for the best results.
  • Be patient when kneading and rising the dough. This is what gives yeast rolls their soft, fluffy texture.
  • You can freeze the rolls after they’ve cooled completely. Just reheat them in the oven or microwave before serving.
