A Fashion Forward Spring Soiree in Wine Country With an Edge

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The colors we went with were moodier, muted Spring colors of pinks, blues, greens, and purple. [/field]

The overall design vibe was an edgier, fashion forward Spring Soiree in wine country. All the guests traveled from around the country to come to wine country. When couples say they want to dine in the vines, it doesn’t really get much better than this. Staying true to the Bride’s fashion forward self, her dress was a major inspiration point for the overall design. So we mixed the laid back nature of an outdoor California wedding and paired it with some edgier, avant garde moments in the floral and reception design.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The Bride’s Monique Lhuillier gown was stunning and we took a lot of inspiration for the overall wedding from that. The dress and the stunning artistic bridal bouquet from Vignette created such amazing bridal shots that were a work of art. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]One of the things couples love about hosting their wedding in wine country, is the fresh, local ingredients that can be used. Montage’s exquisite seasonal cuisine never disappoints. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]While we wanted to emphasize the Bride’s editorial chic look, we also wanted to keep the design authentic to the location. So by incorporating in season beautiful floral that felt like it was a part of the surroundings was important. But instead of a traditional pastel color palette for Spring, we went with muted, cooler tones to keep that environment modern, yet natural. [/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]To add to the intimate, familial nature of the weekend, they also flew in their Pastor from the East Coast as well to create such a heartfelt and meaningful ceremony. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Overall, their goal was to create an inclusive, intimate guest experience for everyone flying across the country for this wedding. From the circular ceremony setup to long intimate dinner tables, and hand selected personalized gifts based on each person’s preferences, every detail was planned towards creating an amazing experience for the guests and the gratitude in sharing in this special moment. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]For the Welcome Party the night before, they had a Bocce Ball tournament to create a fun meet and greet experience the night before the wedding. By the end of the weekend everyone felt like they were apart of the family, including the vendors. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]For entertainment, we DJ Live from Downbeat LA that was so fun in keeping the party going. With the musicians coming out in to the audience and keeping the energy up added to the inclusive feeling of the whole event. [/field]
