Yamazaki Home’s Grain Storage Container — sold as part of their expansive “Tower” collection of functional home goods — is a clever, Japanese-designed way to take the prep out of meal prep.
Inside the container are 12 separate compartments that each hold exactly ¾ cup of rice, quinoa, oatmeal, lentils, or whatever other grains you love (total storage = 9 cups/~2 liters/~4 lbs). When you’re ready to cook, you just slide open the part of the lid above a given compartment and pour, so your portion control is already handled. How handy is that?
This grain organizer is $25 at Food52. It can also be purchased from Yamazaki’s site for the same price, but since I’m using Food52’s photo above, I figured I’d link their page first.
