HOW TO MAKE SPIDER SLIME FOR HALLOWEEN

Materials

2 cups of school glue
1-2 cups of liquid starch
Neon paint
Spiders
Bowl/spoon

A blacklight (optional)

Method
Begin by combining 2 cups of clear school glue with 1 teaspoon of blue paint in a large bowl or container.
Slowly begin to add liquid starch and mix, slowly adding more starch and mixing until the desired consistency is reached.

Once the slime is formed remove it from the bowl and knead it with clean, dry hands.
After a bit of mixing and kneading you will be left with super stretchy spiderweb slime!  Add spiders and the fun can begin!

Extend the Fun

Wow kids of all ages with these spooky Halloween experiments.

Tips & Storage:

Store spider slime in an air-tight container between play, and it can be used again and again!
Liquid starch can be found in the laundry aisle of some stores, but I have found that it is easier to purchase it on Amazon.
To make your slime glow you can use a blacklight fixture or these super cool flashlights.  Rosie and Jewel love using the flashlights!

Troubleshooting:
Is your slime too sticky?  That means you need to add more starch.  Just be sure to add it slowly.
Is your slime too rubbery?  OOPS!  That means you added too much starch.  That's ok.  Just add a bit of glue and mix until the desired consistency is reached.
